Refresh The standard refresh rate for RSS feeds is 30 minutes. If its possible, a less frequent refresh rate for this site would be appreciated. Its not going to change often enough that 30 minutes is going to be any better than 24 hours. Lots of apps have one interval for all Feeds, so most user won't be able to comply. But if you can, please do.

Gzip If you happen to be using a custom made RSS program, please have this program send the "Accept-Encoding: gzip,deflate" header when requesting our feed. That will make our server send you the RSS feed in a compressed gzip format. This will help keep our server nice and speedy. Then you can simply expand the gzip content within your application and you'll be good to go.
